Legal and policies
The rules of the platform, the membership fees and how your information and funds are handled.

1. Terms of use
Kgolo Network is owned and operated by SAMCA. By joining you confirm that the information you give is accurate, that your business is lawfully operating or being registered, and that you will keep your compliance documents current. We may suspend or remove a listing that is false, unlawful or harmful.
2. Membership fees
Membership is charged as an annual fee based on your tier. You may pay in 12 monthly instalments or pay the full year upfront and receive a 10% discount. Every new member receives a 14 day free trial. Fees are in South African rand and include or exclude VAT as shown at checkout.

Proposed prices, subject to approval. Fees are not refundable after the trial except where the law requires. Cancel any time to stop future instalments.
3. Events, uploads and commission
Every member may upload events, free or paid, with a logo or image. You confirm you own or may use everything you upload. Free events carry no platform fee. On paid events the platform takes 3.5% of ticket revenue, rising to as much as 10% where marketing and additional support are required. The applicable rate is agreed with you before the event is published. Kgolo may decline or remove events that are misleading, unlawful or off topic.
4. Kgolo Opportunity Fund and Ledger
Funds are recorded in the Opportunity Ledger as Committed, Ring-fenced or Deployed. A 10% administration fee applies. Funds are deployed only to verified businesses that meet the published criteria. Funding is not guaranteed by membership, and Kgolo gives no investment advice.
5. Prime Position Auction
The auction runs every six months across the six pillars. The winning bidder takes a six month Pillar Stewardship Mandate. Bidders must be verified members in good standing. Bid values, the winner and the use of proceeds are published on Kgolo Funds. Detailed bidding rules will be released before the first auction.
6. Privacy and data protection
We process personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect only what is needed to run your membership, verify your business and respond to requests. Identity numbers are not displayed publicly. The Join form registers you on Kgolo Network. Workshop and assistance requests open your email app and send your details to kgolonetwork@samca.co.za. You may ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
7. News and third party content
The news feed shows headlines from public sources, filtered for positive mining stories. Headlines and images belong to their publishers and link to the original. Kgolo does not endorse third party articles, courses or events. Stock photos are from Pexels.
