What is Kgolo Network?+
Kgolo Network is the mining value-chain platform for Africa and the Middle East: one place to find mining and resource sites, connect with the businesses that serve them, and access skills, funding and market pathways. It's built to turn mineral wealth into local, lasting value, starting with South Africa's five producing provinces.
Who is it for?+
Mining houses, service providers and suppliers, investors and DFIs, SMMEs, communities and government partners: anyone who touches the mining value chain. If your business explores, supplies, processes, funds or trades around mining, there's a reason to be on the network.
Why should I register now?+
We're in our founding period. Founding members get priority placement as the directory grows, founding-member recognition that carries through as the network expands, and first sight of opportunities ahead of the Kgolo Founding Auction on 1 December 2026.
The earlier you're in, the more visibility you build before the directory fills up.
What can I do on the platform today?+
Register free and receive your unique Kgolo ID. Search the Kgolo Directory, which already lists 100+ mines and resource sites across five provinces alongside a growing set of mining businesses, and claim your business's profile if it's already there.
As the network opens, members will also get the Mining Value Chain Index of service providers, the Deal Room for investment-ready projects, Beneficiation Hubs that turn mine waste into local products, skills and enterprise development partners, and export-ready market access.
What is the Deal Room?+
The Deal Room is where capital will meet investment-ready projects in the mining value chain, such as beneficiation hubs, with direct introductions between investors and project owners. It opens to members as the network launches; founding members will be first to see it.
Do I have to pay to join?+
No. Registering and getting your Kgolo ID is free. Paid membership tiers, from a self-serve Explorer tier up to Enterprise with Deal Room participation and priority introductions, will be announced as the network launches.
Is my listing verified?+
Mine and site listings are compiled from public industry sources. Business listings come from our founding contact lists and from businesses that register themselves.
When you register, your profile is linked to your Kgolo ID. If someone claims an existing listing with details that don't match ours, our team checks the claim before the listing shows as registered, so members can trust who they're connecting with.
How long does it take to get started?+
A few minutes. Register, get your Kgolo ID, and if you register as a business your listing appears in the directory straight away.
What happens after I register?+
You'll see your Kgolo ID on screen; keep it safe, because it's permanently linked to your registration and you can use it to look up your details at any time. We'll keep you updated as the network opens, including new opportunities in your part of the value chain and the Founding Auction.
